Our don Quijote Spanish school in Guanajuato offers you a unique teaching method and a personalized service. The school operates in full cooperation with the other don Quijote schools in Spain and with our parter schools in Latin America, meaning that you can combine destinations during your Spanish course at your convenience.

don Quijote school in Guanajuato is located right in the centre of the city, close to the main attractions and with access to all the services you may need during your stay.

The school has 15 comfortable classrooms and a maximum capacity of 110 students. There is also a patio where you can have a break or meet with other students after the classes, a multimedia classroom with free internet access, a teachers' room and a students' office.

In don Quijote Guanajuato you will find our general Spanish courses, with flexible start dates and duration, as well as a wide range of specialised courses to suit your needs.

You will study in small groups (maximum 8 students per class) with classes either in the morning or in the afternoon and an extra daily class covering local culture subjects and current events.

• The city of Guanajuato is the state capital and is one of the most important historical and cultural colonial cities in Mexico.
• Guanajuato is located in the central part of Mexico, south of the high Mexican plateau.

CULTURAL/RECREATIONAL:

• Although a small city, Guanajuato has a great deal to offer: from the beautiful colonial buildings to modern museums, from the silver mines to the university.
• Guanajuato astonishes the visitor with the charm of its relaxed atmosphere. Its paved streets and picturesque squares.
• The Festival International Cervantino, or FIC, is a very prestigious and famous festival of culture, music, theatre and dance. It is held annually October and attracts intellectuals, artists and tourists from all over the world.
• The famous Underground Street, officially known as Calle Miguel Hidalgo has an amazing charm. Following the course of the old Guanajuato River, it runs nearly 3 kilometres beneath the city.
• Practically the entire state of Guanajuato has a pleasant climate with temperatures between 12ºC and 24º C.
