Guanajuato Summer Camp

The city of Guanajuato is one of the most important historical and cultural colonial cities in Mexico and is well known for its wealth of fine colonial era Spanish architecture.

It is a small size, quiet University city far from the tourist crowds in Cancún and Cuernavaca.

It’s the ideal place to study Spanish in Mexico.

We offer you 3 Summer Camp program options so you can choose the best one for your child:

• A) Summer Camp: Intense Spanish course and in-house residence, either in a residence hall or host family. It makes for an unforgettable experience in which the student continuously interacts with other youngsters and teens for 24 hours a day.
• B) Day Camp: Student participates in all camp activities, including the language course. No lodging included.
• C) Language Course Only: Student shares Spanish language classes with other camp youngsters. Does not include camp activities or lodging.

Facilities: The school is located in the central neighborhood of La Pastita, just a 10 minute walk from Teatro Juárez. The school is housed in a typical building, contains 15 classrooms, an inviting interior patio, a multimedia room, rest areas and spacious meeting rooms.

Capacity: 110 students.

Program: The assistance to lessons is controlled and supervised by the teachers. In the afternoon the students go back to their residence/family for lunch. An activity is arranged in the afternoon every day from Monday to Friday. A group counsellor controls the assistance on activities as well as the curfew at night. Curfew is at 11:30pm from Sunday to Thursday and at 12: 30am on Fridays and Saturdays. The school director will be contacted by the host family if participants break curfew. We recommend this program to independent teenagers capable of responsible, mature behavior.

Accommodation: Participants will share a room with another teenager in a host family in a double room with full board, with laundry service provided every 2 weeks. The families are within walking distance from the school.

Optional Sports: Not available.

Age Group: From 14 to 18 years old.

Permission: Only under the expressed request of parents or guardians.
